Squash Court Did Not Host Manhattan Project, by Guy Cipriano

The Squash E-Zine article (posted 7-5) is wrong. 
The court was a RACQUETS  court, not a squash court. It was built under the stands at the football stadium of the University of Chicago by Harold McCormick, 
business tycoon.

If you look at the drawing, the walls are black. That is 100% correct. Racquets courts are built of black colored Bickley concrete. They are also 30' x 60 ' and much higher than a squash court. Squash courts back then were 18.5x 32 and white in color.
