The Greatest Multi-Racquet Athlete?
From Guy Cipriano
Interesting article posted on A Man For All Racquets.
However the greatest multi-racquet athlete in the world is without
question James Stout, pro at the NY R+T.
He is world racquets champion, he is ranked in the top 5 in the world
in court tennis, he is one of the best squash doubles players in North
America, and he was also in the top 120 in squash singles several years ago.
Is James the greatest multi -racquets athlete EVER?
Maybe- Pater Latham was simultaneous world rackets and court tennis champion around 1900. Jim Dear was British Open squash champion, world racquets champion, and challenged for the world court tennis championship, losing to Pierre Etchebaster late on the third day of his challenge. That's pretty impressive as well!
The greatest amateur multi- racquets sportsman? In my opinion Peter Bostwick, Jr., World court tennis champion, national racquets champion, National 40+ squash champion, and also a very fine lawn tennis player, plus also a gifted hockey player and a scratch golfer in his prime.
